The course is situated in countryside 5 miles south of Middlesbrough with stunning views of the Cleveland Hills. There are many attractive and challenging holes, the tree-lined short 4th (197 yards), the dog-leg 11th, around or over Oakwood (544 yards), the 8th which has been described by many visitors as one if the most attractive holes they have played.
